This was the bridge next to Giardini Salvi, the lines of symmetry drew my attention to make for optimal views and moments.
The older construction and foundation here is based on layers over time using several materials and methods for support.
Walking over the bridges made me notice the different water levels and how they have changed over the seasons and years. If the Roman roads were 12' underground, how different was the Bacchiglione river back then?
The way these buildings respond to the water levels is intriguing, we don't really know how far down the foundation is for each structure.
