The city of Padua, or Padova in Italian, at first glance once you leave the train station to be a relatively modern city designed around the many historic influences. However, as you make you way in to the heart of the city, the historic build and architecture begins to be apparent. Between the numerous churches and the incredibly large piazza and its market the city had a lot to offer.

Although not as lively and vibrant as I had hoped, for being the first botanical garden in Europe, it was architecturally interesting to see. |
