Parc Guell


I am unsure if these are structural or if they are even parts of columns, but I was interested in how Gaudi articulated these tops, which ran along the ridges of the park near the outlook over the museum.  The size of the stones correspond to the level of manipulation, which does not appear unnatural due to the continuation of the type of material used.  As a result, it looks as though the column top (if that is what it is) grows out from the stone cliffs.
