I probably don't need to say this, but...
In this project it is extremely important for you to propose a tectonic attitude. Something more advanced than a kit of parts, but containing one.

I don't want you to get stuck thinking too much but I want you to consider what you are doing periodically. What I mean is, by working episodically then thinking and adjusting, you may come up with some really great moves. The tectonic thesis of your work will come from doing work.

*Develop architectural vocabularies where gravity and light are contributors.
*Include pattern and texture and patterns of texture.
*Struggle with form.

It is imperative to use this project to think through the problems and opportunities of working at the EDGE of the Medieval city.
