facade drawing M&M assignment 1

This is a drawing derived from Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona. In this structure, the "roof" of the market along with the exposed structure that holds the roof and faces the street can be considered a horizontal facade. From the street one can see the different layers that build up on each other to hold the curving roof up. The trusses move along into the interior which support the many pieces of wood that create the shape of the curve.
