Specific Tasks for Wenesday

1. Use Google Canal View to explore the sites in a way that you might not be able to otherwise.
2. Choose a site: After reading your Venezia research posts we have tried to find sites that make use of some of your ideas and energy. We have located three site choices. Check them out and choose one. (https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zjTB7i9BEHyw.kz8AThPDthfM)
   
3. Construct the site: Use whatever resources you can to construct drawings of the site. Specifically; site plan, and site section elevations. These shall function as your working backgrounds. They shall be measured and have scale . You may also build a digital model of the site.
   
4. Catalogue the site - make a list of material systems. For example, "running bond light red clay brick", or "soft white shaped stone cap and coping". You get it, be descriptive. It is important that these are not just one word descriptions. The system is as important as the material. Compile images of these material systems as you go (this is a ongoing part of the assignment).
   
5. Propose a small program to be housed on/in your intervention. Come to studio with an idea or two.
6. Find architectural and tectonic vocabulary specific to Venezia. Look back through pictures you took/sketches you made in Venezia.
