Today we dealt with shape by translating it to planes. Using planes it is possible to distill form using only line. However, adding shading will make it come alive. Next time.

NOTE - I stressed that you must not draw a face, you must draw the shapes you see.

I like how this guy is teaching it (C l  i v e   P o w s e y). He is trying to get at different ways to use shade to create the illusion of space.
For next class you owe me two, unshaded. If you shade, I won't mind. Post'em.
