Milano Centrale

I hope all of you have been in some grand train stations. Milano Centrale was quite impressive. Aidan's first comment was,  "Dad, this is just like the train station in Washington D.C." He is spot on. It was modeled after Union Station. Construction on this station took forever because of wars, etc, so like many churches we have seen ou had a mix of styles. The steel canopies I highlight in my post were completed during Mussolini's tenure. I show the same bearing point from each side. Beautiful connections. I finish with a beautiful smile.
