Sketch - Spiderman cup

Messing around with pastels again....shaded the cup and shadows with tones opposite of the brightness.  I need paper with less tooth.

    I like the experiment very much. You could do this with that basilica sketch you posted. I also like the photograph. It is ironic, the flat paper with a drawing of the cup using color to create the illusion of depth, photographed with a bright light as if to force the flat paper to become modeled with light and shadow!
