Morphological Tourism- Map of Venice- 1729

The Rialto are historic markets that date from the founding of Venice in 809 B.C. The current pescaria (fish market) is the 19th century incarnation of an original fish market that had lasted at least 600 years. The fisherman dine at backstreet hole in the wall pubs after a days work. These establishments have been in use for over 500 years.
